I listened to the audio version of "Neon Gods," and let me tell you, the narrators were perfect for bringing Hades and Persephone to life. Alex Moorcock's deep voice was the embodiment of Hades, while Zara Hampton-Brown's portrayal of Persephone was mesmerizing, making every moment a delight to listen to. This is hands down the hottest version of Hades and Persephone ever told. Katee Robert has crafted a tale where Hades masterfully draws out Persephone's dark and bratty side. My jaw dropped multiple times with each bold move Hades made. Robert's storytelling is nothing short of sensational, elevating the myth to new, jaw-dropping heights. There were moments so intense, I wished I were Persephone myself. The scenes and descriptions were so vivid, my imagination went wild. The other gods were depicted with striking accuracy, especially Zeus, who stayed true to his character in every way. Robert truly brings these divine figures to life in a captivating way. I'll leave it at that and let you experience "Neon Gods" for yourself. Trust me, you'll want to read this in a cool room, with a cold drink nearby, and maybe prepare for a cold shower after certain scenes. 😉
