This book was a delight, a captivating tale that never once allowed for a dull moment. The narrators were exceptional, their style of narration aligning perfectly with what I seek in audiobooks. The romance in this book was a slow burn, devoid of explicit content, yet it didn’t require it. The chemistry was palpable! The narrative carried an air of “The Hunger Games” and “Red Queen”, a blend that was intriguing. This story stirred my emotions, even coaxing tears from my eyes. It left me gasping, eagerly anticipating the unfolding of events. Yes, some have voiced complaints about the presence of every cliché trope, but they were executed so brilliantly that I found myself unperturbed. I devoured it with relish! I found immense enjoyment in this book and eagerly await the sequel.
